tee design for Better Left Unsaid
Cover for American Hell’s new album The Great Dying. loved working on every inch of this piece. The band also gave me the time to reread Animal Farm in preparation of doing the album artwork. I read it when I was a child, but as an adult seeing how brilliant all of the allegorical references that were lost to me as a child came just crashing through, especially in this crazy political climate we permanently live within now.

Tee Design to support American Hells new record
I was asked by the folks over at Style Over Substance to create a fan art homage to one of the greatest films of my formative years, The Crow. This was a joy to create, and I found it difficult to reign in going completely overboard with the story’s narrative, and just make a cool looking poster.
"They Keep Calling Me" is a 18x24 3 color screenprint. You can get one here:

Last year I experimented with a comic sized art book featuring works of the previous year. I loved putting it together and just being able to collect some of the work in an accessible volume, and being an insane comic nerd, in a format that I’m accustomed to. so now it’s 2013, and it’s time for a look backwards to see a small sample of the works I did.
2013’s is slightly different, I added more pages, and decided to add some commentary, something that was missing from 2011′s volume. Also this year is the introduction of custom Art Covers. The Standard Edition is limited to 50, and the Art Cover Edition, which you get customized with anything you want, is limited to 15. All signed and numbered, and in a
custom box . (custom boxes are gone!)
I hope you enjoy this years. I can tell you from pawing through it it’s leaps and bounds above the previous one, and that makes me feel good. Knowing the quality of work has drastically improved by flipping through some of these pages is a nice breath of fresh air when you’re lost in the fog of countless client work. It makes me excited for what 2013′s volume is going to look like.
Both Version are available to purchase at my storefront here: http://xjoshuabelangerx.bigcartel.com/
UPDATE: standard edition covers are sold out. thank you!
